Honda cadet drivers Billy Monger and Harvey Meek secured an impressive result in both finals at Super 1 Larkhall in July. Final 1 had Billy Monger finish a fine 2nd with Harvey Meek storming through the field on a damp track to finish a brilliant 3rd place with fastest lap to his name by over a Second.

Final 2 found Harvey lead into to 1st corner with billy in 3rd but as the race developed Billy broke away from the field with Jack Evans and diced for the lead on the last lap with Billy taking a wider line than jack into the final corner to snatch it on the line. Harvey came an impressive 5th with his brother Felix Meek rounding of finishing in the top 10 on both finals. Keith Wilson’s pace improved in the 4 stroke Senior category with his times being well within the pace of the field after a long lay off due to funding. Another Honda Cadet driver racing with Ambition this meeting was Cameron Clarke. After consistent heat results but a wrong tyre choice in the finals which cost him a few places in the points, Cameron showed a strong head and improved greatly over the weekend.
