Elliot Harvey has once again achieved very highly at this weekend Southern Championship at Forest Edge.
Elliot was one of the fastest out where Elliot came, 2nd, 1st and 2nd on the Saturday. On Sunday Elliot placed 2nd, 3rd, 3rd in the heats, which gave him 2nd for the final starting grid.  With the weather changing drastically to very heavy rain the set up on the kart had to be changed in the last minutes. The start of the final was good, however Elliot got knocked off on the second corner, leaving him last and stuck in the bushes/mud. With great determination Elliot got out of his kart and managed to pull it out and get back on the track to re-start his race  – and what a great race he did!!!  In the pouring rain the track was like a river and Elliot managed to get back into 4th place before the race ended. This gave Elliot an overall 2nd place for the Southern Champs.
Well Done Elliot!
