Driver Profile: Charlie Typaldo-Cole

Charlie started karting in late 2010 aged just five and a half.  He first got behind the wheel at Daytona Sandown where he quickly got to grips with kart and track, and he now regularly competes in Bambino Club Sessions at Buckmore Park, Lydd and Brands Hatch.  In just over a year, Charlie has competed and taken podium places in over a dozen race weekends, most recently taking Gold and Silver at the December 2011 and January 2012 MSA Bambino events at Buckmore Park.  He also finished runner up in the Buckmore Park 2011 Bambino Star Pupil Summer Championships.

Racking up an impressive 16 trophies and medals in just one year, Charlie is a focused and competitive little driver, keen to hone his skills and emulate his idols, Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton.  His dream is to follow in their footsteps – and to one day own a Ferrari or Lamborghini Murcielago!
