Ambition Motorsport LIKC Winter Series Round 4. The team headed to Lydd Kart Circuit last weekend for Round 4 of the LIKC Winter Series, the club championship event that continues to provide valuable competitive mileage throughout the winter months. With drivers competing across Bambino MightE, Bambino Comer, Honda Cadet and Junior Rotax categories, the weekend produced multiple victories, podium finishes and further evidence of structured driver development.
Lydd’s fast and flowing layout demands precision and consistency, particularly in winter conditions. Across the meeting, the team demonstrated strong preparation and execution, converting pace into results across several classes.
Bambino MightE – Control at the Front
In the MightE Bambino category, Nicolas Ansah delivered a commanding performance. After securing pole position in qualifying, he maintained control throughout the day, winning the Heat, Pre Final and Final while setting the fastest lap in each race. It was a composed and dominant display that underlined both speed and race management.
Teddy Wesolowski also showed strong front running pace. Qualifying sixth, he made immediate progress in the Heat to finish second, before maintaining that position in both the Pre Final and Final. Three consecutive second place finishes reflected consistency and confidence in close racing.
Xavier Meek produced a solid and structured weekend. Qualifying fourth, he remained inside the top four in every race and improved to third in the Pre Final. A third place finish in the Final secured a well earned podium result.
Fraser Payne continued to build steadily across the event. From eighth in qualifying, he made forward progress in the Heat and maintained seventh position in both the Pre Final and Final, gaining valuable race experience in a competitive field.
Bambino Comer – Front Running Pace
The Bambino Comer class saw strong performances from both Ambition Motorsport drivers. Brody Pearless controlled the weekend from the outset, qualifying on pole and converting that position into victories in the Heat, Pre Final and Final, setting the fastest lap in each race. It was a precise and confident display.
Bertie Cockill supported the front running effort with a consistent drive of his own. After qualifying fourth, he moved into third in the Pre Final and secured third again in the Final, adding another podium to the team’s tally.
Honda Cadet – Competitive Throughout
In Honda Cadet, the team again showed competitive pace across the line up.
Nico Wesolowski delivered a strong recovery across the weekend. After qualifying second and setting fastest lap in the Heat, he converted his pace into victory in the Pre Final, again recording fastest lap. Starting the Final from pole, he controlled the race to secure the win.
Reggie Dufficy was also at the sharp end from the start, qualifying on pole and winning the Heat. A second place in the Pre Final positioned him well for the Final, where he secured third place after a competitive race.
Zara Janes demonstrated steady progression throughout the weekend, moving forward in both the Heat and Pre Final. She lined up fifth for the Final and finished seventh after a close race, continuing her development within the class.
Jake Harris showed resilience across the meeting. After a challenging Heat, he produced a strong recovery drive in the Pre Final, moving from eleventh to sixth. He finished tenth in the Final, gaining valuable experience and race mileage.
Junior Rotax – Competitive Pace
In Junior Rotax, Jerry Dufficy qualified second and maintained that position in the Heat. A busy Pre Final saw him finish fifth, and he repeated that result in the Final, setting the fastest lap of the race. It was a competitive showing in a strong field and another positive step within the class.
